Prines is just a short walk away, with three tavernas and a little shop, and we found the village tavernas really friendly. The Veranda was our favourite. It was easy to catch the bus into Rethymno for the restaurants in the old town. Villa Olympia itself was lovely and comfortable, with a garden, pool and grassy space. We especially enjoyed the roof terrace at sunset with a glass of wine. Axel was a great host, and we'd happily recommend the villa. Nicky And Mark, June 2025

The houses have stone walls, beamed ceilings, and two or three bedrooms, along with a full kitchen and a roomy living area with a fireplace. They also have a washing machine, dishwasher and CD player. Each one comes with its own pool and a cared-for garden, and from the terrace you can see the Cretan Sea and the White Mountains. Free WiFi and on-site parking are available. Villa Olympia - Villa Erato is in Prinés, about 6 km from Rethymno and 84 km from Heraklion International Airport.

We had a wonderful week here. The villa is fantastic, with a great pool and an amazing view. Our host also shared some really good food tips. There's plenty to do nearby, and Rethymno is close. We'd absolutely recommend staying here.
