It was calm around the apartment, but restaurants and souvenir shops were only a short walk away. The beach was about 15-20 minutes on foot, so it suited us when we wanted somewhere quieter than the bars and clubs. The owner welcomed us, showed us around, and was really friendly. The room was larger than we'd expected, with a double bed and a single in the living room. We had two TVs and effective AC. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed, and the bathroom was great. It was cleaned properly, and after we switched on the boiler for a few minutes, there was hot water for showers. The balcony was a relaxing spot, with a little rack for drying clothes and wet towels. They brought fresh towels whenever the room was cleaned and looked after us well.

Everything was peaceful and the room got cleaned every day. The staff were friendly, and we had no disturbances during our stay. There's a supermarket a minute away, restaurants close by, and the beach is about a 15-minute walk. I'd strongly recommend it.

Our host was lovely and helpful with our requests, and the hotel itself was peaceful. We had comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a small kitchen stocked with what we needed: dishes, glasses, a fridge, and a microwave. The bathrooms could use a little updating, though. We spent a week here in late June this year, right in the heart of Rethymno old town, near the fortress. It's tucked onto a quiet alley with souvenir shops, lazy cats, and lovely red flowers and trees all around. It was a beautiful vacation and we had a great time. Thanks, and hope to see you soon!

Such a great location in the old town of Rethymno, with delicious restaurants just around the corner. The beach is manageable on foot, about 12 minutes away. Our room was clean and nice, with a beautiful balcony, and the owner was friendly with great service. I'd definitely recommend it.

The breakfast's main item was the same two sandwiches every day. Sometimes there was fruit or something sweet on the side. Since we cooked ourselves, it didn't bother us much, and the coffee was amazing. The beach is a 15-20 minute walk away. I suggest taking the shop street, where open doors with AC running inside make it cooler. We stayed seven nights. The location was handy for exploring Rethymno old town, with plenty of restaurants nearby as well as parking. Our spacious room was on the first (0) floor, down the stairs when you enter the hotel. It was cleaned daily and the towels were changed three times. The owner was very friendly and responsive. The AC worked well, and the room had a small kitchenette, dishes, a hair dryer, and other useful things. The terrace full of cats was amazing, and the soundproofing was good enough that we couldn't hear the neighbors. I recommend visiting at least once!
