Amus Hotel & Spa

We were looked after so well, including a room upgrade that was amazing, plus complimentary wine, champagne, a fruit basket, and a gift bag of local products. The staff were friendly, professional, and spoke very good English. The hotel itself was fantastic, with lovely facilities, tasteful decor, and good food every evening. The courtyard near reception had a real wow factor, almost like sitting among old ruins, and was very relaxing. The location felt ideal, with easy access to the airport and Old Town. The beach is close, and there’s a watersports hire centre just a short walk away. The pool was too cold for October, though. The spa looks nicely decorated but felt incredibly overpriced for what was offered. Charging to use the adults-only area seemed like a bit of a con, there wasn’t much to use, and the massages weren’t worth the price. The staff there were still professional and friendly.

From arrival onward, every member of staff at Amus Hotel & Spa made us feel welcome and was attentive and happy to help. Our room was spacious, spotless, well equipped, and had breathtaking views that were lovely to wake up to. The hotel has a good range of bars and restaurants onsite. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at each, and the teams were professional and eager to please. The onsite spa is run by an outside company. Its facilities are amazing and the treatments were very enjoyable, though the spa team did apply a little pressure to buy things. That didn’t spoil the experience for us. We also found it a relaxing, high-quality place to stay in Rhodes, and it exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to come back.

The pools were lovely, and the room was spacious and really, really clean. We had lots of seats by the pool, though we visited off peak. The area was lovely too, about 15 minutes by bus to Rhodes centre, or an hour on foot if you want to get your steps in and take photos along the way. A receptionist, blonde with glasses, working around 4-8 October was so professional and fantastic. I’m sad I can’t remember her name. We’ll be back!

For the price and quality, this place deserves more than five stars. We booked bed and breakfast, and stopped at the bar for cocktails twice. Breakfast had a tasty variety, including some traditional desserts. The garden connects to the beach by a tunnel, so you don’t have to cross the main road. There are two pools, and I especially recommend the one on the top floor. The staff were friendly, and all of them spoke English.
