Anar Villas Rhodes Amel 3 Bedroom Sea View Villa With Private Swimming Pool

We were eight girls, and this villa was big, clean, and really well equipped. Nothing was missing. It has a modern design and a breathtaking view, and it’s about ten minutes by taxi from the Old Town and central Rhodes. Such an amazing, beautiful place for a Rhodes holiday. Irini was always friendly and helpful, and I have no complaint about her. Sadly, a lot of other things weren’t right, and we wouldn’t book here again. The drive in is on a bumpy gravel road that felt dangerous for cars. On arrival the pool and tiles were dirty. We were told both would be cleaned the next day, but only the tiles were done. The grill was dirty too. The gardener spent two days mowing and trimming trees, making noise all day so we couldn’t enjoy ourselves. The property looks much better in the photos. In reality it’s worn and rusty, the garden doesn’t match the pictures, and there are construction sites everywhere. The kitchen was missing basic things like salt, pepper, sugar, and foil, so we had to buy everything. The fittings, tiles, pool, and furniture all felt very cheap.

We came as a couple for a romantic break, and the villa was almost perfect. It’s one of three, beautifully designed, and has just about everything: three bedrooms, two showers and toilets, a living room, kitchen with washing machine, pool in the yard, Wi-Fi, TV, fireplace, and barbecue. Bring food and you’re set. Iran, the company’s representative who looks after the villas, was amazing, and the cleaner took care of whatever we needed. The problem was a nearby construction site for other villas, just a few metres away. It was noisy most of the day, and workers could see us, which took away our privacy. We ended up going to the beach during the day. This wasn’t Iran’s fault, but it made the stay a bit of a disaster for us. It’s a good idea to have a car if you stay here.

A huge headache. The villa had problems all over: water leaks, no hot water, no baby cot even though one was listed in the reservation and requested, and no light in the bedroom. The dishwasher and washing machine didn’t work either. We reported everything, but they didn’t bother fixing it, even though repairs would only take a day or two. Extremely disappointing.
