Arte Annapolis Inn

The staff's warmth and attention were the highlight, especially Angie, who was superb, friendly and accommodating. Her tips helped us experience the real Rhodes Town, and she also helped us find a parking spot, which was a real plus. We stayed in mid-October, when nights get chilly. As the third person, I slept on the couch, and the topper just wasn't enough. It got cold at night too, and only one bedsheet was provided. The balcony doors didn't lock, so we had to trust that nobody would come in. Overall, great value for what you get.

The rooms were spacious and the staff friendly. We had two beds plus an extra bed. They weren't the softest, but the staff brought us an extra mattress when we asked. Rooms were cleaned daily, breakfast was tasty, and the pool area was nice. There were adorable kittens wandering around the hotel grounds too. The broken TV and stained shower curtain were a minus. Still, it was a very nice place, and I'd happily stay at Annapolis Inn again sometime.

The location made it easy to enjoy the area without being caught up in the old town's nighttime noise. It was about 10-15 minutes away, with the beach only a four-minute walk and traditional restaurants nearby. The neighborhood felt safe and was well lit, with a pharmacy across the street and a supermarket three minutes away. My apartment faced the inner pool, so it was quiet, and the large balcony had a table and chairs. The room was cleaned every day by a warm, friendly cleaner. The kitchen had everything I needed, the pool was clean and comfortably warm, and there was always somewhere shaded. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The hotel has an older feel, and the room, beds, and showers aren't modern or high-end, though they were still good and clean. We also used the little kitchen a few times to make lunch, which was handy. The pool area was tidy and clean, if a bit small. I liked the charming decor and the atmosphere of a hotel from before all-inclusive resorts took over. It's close to the beach and other services. The staff were friendly and very helpful, we were well looked after, and the food was great. I had some reservations at first, but ended up really enjoying our time there.
