We were welcomed warmly by Marta, and everything was perfectly clean. The accommodation is cosy and comfortable, set in a green garden in the old town’s center. It’s peaceful and quiet, while still close to wonderful monuments and restaurants. A lovely base for enjoying Rhodes.

The accommodations were clean and very good for a more than reasonable price, and it was a place where we could properly relax after a tiring beach day or a long walk around the castle. If you’d like to go back a few decades, this place has that feel. Rocco and another woman, who I call “Bologna” because I don’t know her name and she’s from there, treated us with kindness, respect, and genuine smiles. Then Mary Marta, the princess of the castle, appeared and nearly completed our stay in Rhodes. What a lady!

The host was responsive and accommodating, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and affordable. It’s tucked into one of the many medieval alleyways in the historic neighborhood in rhodes. The alley doors open into an enclosed garden or yard shared by a couple of air bnbs. Shops, restaurants, and plenty of interesting things to see are only seconds away. 10 stars!

Behind a quiet alley just off the busy high street is a charming little walled garden with three small family apartments. Each one is a single room with a shower and toilet. Everything indoors and out is clean and tidy, and the garden has beautiful flowers and a real Rhodos atmosphere. The landlady Martha and her mother live above the holiday apartments. They speak English and are extremely helpful. They can arrange airport transport, give directions, or call to help find a cheap car rental.
