City Plus Rhodes Hotel

We left on the first night. Room 402 had a nice view, but that was the only good thing. There was mold that looked a few days old, dead flies, and dust everywhere except on the bed. We were told to Booking.com that we hadn’t checked in, which is a plain lie, and we still haven’t got our money back. If you care about your health, don’t stay here. The location isn’t amazing either. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the old city, which is manageable, but there are B&Bs or hotels closer by, in better condition and a better area. Update: While trying to get a refund because of the room’s horrible state, they marked us as no-shows on Booking.com. We’ll have to make multiple claims or contact them to try to get even a little of our money back. The photos they posted are nowhere to be seen, and it feels like a scam.

The hotel provides satisfactory services, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I’d recommend it for a quick trip to explore the island of Rhodes.

I was disappointed they wouldn’t let me check out later without charging me, even though it was a quiet time of year with few guests. It felt mean.

Update after Costa Park replied: 09.11.2025. It’s embarrassing that you’ve replied several months later. You also haven’t changed the date, which was what I actually asked for. I’d advise readers to stay away from this hotel. My original review from seven months ago is below. Our ferry to Rhodes was canceled because of bad weather, so it was impossible for us to reach the island. Since this was out of our control, we expected some flexibility with the reservation. Instead, the hotel and agency sent us back and forth, with neither willing to take responsibility. Terrible customer service. For a hotel of this size to have no way to help guests in this situation is unacceptable. If this review is still up, the issue was never resolved. I strongly advise future travelers to consider how the hotel handles customer service before booking.
