We loved how peaceful the hotel felt, and the room was spotless. Housekeeping did a great job each day, the bed was unbelievably comfortable, and the pool upgrade was a real treat. The beach was clean and quiet, and the pool area was lovely. There are restaurants and a good supermarket within walking distance, so although we had a rental car, it was nice to walk out for lunch sometimes. One small disappointment was not being able to get even an extra hour for late checkout. They did provide a shower room, which we appreciated. We were also asked for Google or Tripadvisor reviews quite a few times, in person, through notes and letters, and later by email. We were happy to give this hotel five stars, but all the reminders felt like a bit much. Thanks for a wonderful week. We'd be glad to return.

We were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, and the hotel made it extra special with wine, a cake, and, best of all, an upgrade to a room with a pool. The dinners were among the best we've had, with a different four-course gourmet meal every evening, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. From arrival, the staff were warm and gave excellent service. The hotel itself is stunning, with an amazing pool overlooking a private beach. We'll definitely be back.

We came for ten nights in October to enjoy the autumn sun and pleasant temperatures. Everything is beautifully presented, with sea views from the shared terraces, restaurant and main pool. Our functional, tidy room had its own terrace pool, and the staff were friendly and always willing to help. Meals were a highlight, especially the breakfast selection and the desserts. Wednesday's Greek night had a buffet and authentic Greek music. The setting is quiet and quite isolated, though there are a few bars, restaurants and a supermarket a short walk away. The hotel has its own private beach area with loungers and concierge service. A road train stops outside hourly and circles Kiotari, the local town, with stops at a couple of nice beaches, restaurants and a small shopping area. Boats to nearby Lardos and Lindos leave from the water activities centre, about a 20-minute walk away.

We left with two separate disappointments. At the restaurant, my partner's medium-rare steak arrived well-done and tough as leather. Service was slow and inattentive, and for such a high bill we expected fresh, properly prepared food. It tasted like a failed attempt at fine dining, and we won't return. After our stay I had a simple question about a minor charge. Instead of answering, the manager accused me of avoiding payment for minibar items I supposedly used. I felt deeply insulted: they called me a liar and a difficult guest just for asking. It felt like a scam followed by an attack on anyone who noticed. Avoid this place if you don't want to be falsely accused and treated like a criminal. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who expects respect.
