N E P center Hotel Rodos

My ferry from Crete was supposed to leave at 5:00 AM and reach Rhodes at 5:00 PM, but yesterday it was delayed until 8:30 PM instead of departing at 5:00 AM. I’d paid for this reservation on September 20, 2025, and even though my stay at the hotel was only two weeks away, they wouldn’t allow free cancellation. I contacted Agoda, but they sided with the hotel. This is the first time I’ve had such a bad experience in Greece. Think twice before booking here, and don’t assume Agoda will help if something goes wrong.

The girls were so uncomfortable that they skipped breakfast every day, and they had another complaint each day too. I’d booked this stay for six young women who’d just graduated and were traveling alone for the first time, so I’m really upset that I have to leave such a negative review. The pictures for NEP looked great, but they clearly weren’t of the hotel. What we found was so disappointing, with conditions I don’t think belong on booking or represent its standards. Room and bathroom doors didn’t lock, there was no soundproofing, and the reception staff were rude and made the girls feel unwelcome. We have real photos documenting it all. We’ll never come back or recommend this place. I’m sorry this accommodation is listed.

The daily breakfast was the same basic spread: boiled eggs, salami, and cheese, though they called it “Continental breakfast.” Our room had bugs, felt dirty, and lacked both space and a proper wardrobe. The bathroom was grimy, with broken tiles, and the safe was out in the hallway where there was no privacy. We booked through an agency, and the hotel's pictures didn’t match what we found at all. When we complained, the manager seemed irritated and showed us two rooms that were even worse. It was our worst hotel experience.

Being right in the center is the only good thing about this place. The basics in the room were awful. The toilet made a long noise in the middle of the night, a loud club could be heard at night, and people kept slamming doors. The bathroom smelled terrible and was moldy and dirty, with someone else's hair left behind. Every piece of furniture was wobbly or broken. The balcony looked out at nothing and was gross, and I didn't want to eat the food here. After just two nights, I hope I can move to another hotel today. Not worth it at all!
