The villa was modern, lovely, and very clean. It’s about a five-minute walk down a fairly steep hill to Pefkos town centre. We found the pool a little shallow at 1.1 metres, though it would probably suit children. We rented through Villa Plus, and the cleaner came three times a week, which felt like a bit much for us.

The price was good and so was the location, but going the whole week without internet was miserable. The place is a bit tatty and doesn’t seem especially well maintained, and the bugs clearly like it. With some work, it could be a great spot.
