Midgard Suites - Medieval Town

Our host made everything easy, arranging a smooth airport transfer, accommodating us throughout the stay, and answering questions quickly over instant messages. Towels, toiletries, tea, and coffee were refreshed daily. The room also had air conditioning and heating, WiFi, and a television. The suite was modern and beautifully clean, with plenty of character that suited the old medieval town. It’s a short walk from excellent restaurants and local markets, yet peaceful at night. The whole stay was easy and enjoyable.

We stayed five nights in this lovely room with a jacuzzi, friendly owners, and what might be the biggest breakfast in town. It’s in the medieval part of Rhodes, quiet but close to the palace and restaurants. If you’re going to Rhodes, I’d stay here.

Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight, with a huge freshly prepared platter and plenty of variety every day. Our room was high standard and cleaned daily, and we appreciated little touches like fresh fruit in the mini fridge. The hotel is peaceful in the middle of Rhodes Old Town, just a two-minute walk from its bars and restaurants. Jurgen was fantastic. He picked us up from the airport, helped carry our luggage through the cobbled streets, and gave us great local restaurant recommendations. Nothing felt like too much trouble. We’d highly recommend staying here.

The owners made me feel so welcome, and their kindness really stood out. They gave me helpful advice on places to visit and eat, and when I couldn’t work out how to open the doors, one host answered my messages even around 11 PM. He also offered me a lift to the airport while he was already going there to pick someone up. My room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the whole place felt warm and inviting. For my birthday, they surprised me with breakfast, balloons, and a little cake in my room. It was such a thoughtful gesture. I’m grateful for the experience and would happily stay again. It’s the kind of family-run place where you can feel the care in everything.
