Pefkos Village Resort

We spent two days here. It’s a nice place, though our room felt a bit dated and could do with freshening up. Breakfast was okay.

The moussaka was the best I’ve ever had. I ended up asking for it nearly every night, and the evening meals were amazing. Breakfast was delicious too. We stayed half board with our child and booked directly with the hotel, which gave us the best price and excellent value. The pool was a good place for us to unwind, and we liked reading out on the terrace. We loved the holiday, and the location near lindos worked well for us. Five stars.

The staff are what made this family run resort shine for us. Vasili has a lovely team across reception, the bar, kitchen, and cleaning. Mary, Marianna, Costas & George made us feel like friends rather than just another tourist, and Marina, Danny & Andela at reception were knowledgeable and happy to help. They arranged a car, taxis, restaurant bookings, and excursions, including some cheaper than our travel company. They also lend pool towels from reception for free. The food was fantastic, cooked to order rather than recycled, with generous portions. The moussaka was the best I’ve ever tasted, and breakfast had plenty of nice options. The bar prices were competitive, too. Our twin/double room was modern, immaculate, and had everything we needed, including air-con, a safe, and a balcony with a beautiful view. It was cleaned to a high standard daily, with fresh towels every other day. The pool area was spotless and well cared for. It’s a quiet spot away from Pefkos centre, but still close enough. From arrival to departure, it was one of my best resort stays, on par with 5* hotels I’ve visited in other countries. My partner and I rarely return to the same place because we like seeing more of the world, but after falling for this resort, we think we’ll be back in September. That says a lot for us. Very impressed.

We got great value for money here. It’s tucked away from the noisy bars, so it’s a good choice if you want peace and quiet. The beach, supermarket, and bus stops are only a few minutes away if you don’t mind walking a little. The staff were the friendliest, and the food was superb, served in huge, nicely presented portions.
