Carina Hotel

I checked in on June 16th, and the big construction site behind the hotel brought a lot of dust and noise. Breakfast was exactly the same every day. After eating it once or twice, I didn’t even feel like going down to the dining room anymore. The wardrobe is tiny too.

The room hygiene was poor, and the rooms themselves are too small, with an even tinier bathroom. There’s no ventilation, and the glass bathroom door looks straight toward the beds. It doesn’t block the bathroom sounds or smells well. The balcony had no laundry wire, and nobody cleaned it, even though it was covered in black construction dust. It wasn’t appealing to sit outside and try to enjoy it. Towels were changed every second day, and the sheets once in five days.

A good hotel in a convenient location. Our room seemed to have been renovated relatively recently, but the shower head wouldn’t stay fixed to the wall, and the fridge was very noisy. Still, a very nice 3 star hotel.

The staff were really nice and the location is excellent. Rooms are small, but good value for the money. Breakfast is good, though it’s the same every day. The kitchen is good too if you order something from the menu.
