Filoxenia in Blue Louis Luxury Villa

Best host and service. We really enjoyed the villa and will come back.

The best part of the week was how quickly Pantelis dealt with the faulty hob. He came over as soon as we reported it, arranged an engineer, and when it couldn’t be repaired, a replacement was fitted that same day. I also mentioned a broken patio handle, which Pantellis said he’d fix. The next day he brought breakfast pastries to apologize for the cooker trouble. If something comes up, let Pantelis know and he’ll do his best to sort it out. We were six adults and one child, using four of the villa’s seven bedrooms for a lovely week in Rhodes. The rooms were clean and a good size; two had en-suite bathrooms, and the separate bathroom had been recently refurbished in a modern style. The rest of the villa feels a little dated, though it must have looked spectacular in its prime. Pantellis arranged a hire car after I contacted him before we arrived, and I’d recommend having one. It was my birthday during the trip, and he also brought over a lovely cake, which we really appreciated. The villa is excellent, and the dated parts and small snags didn’t spoil our holiday. The air conditioning and pool were good, and the apartment worked well for our three-generation family of 10. A few minor fixes would make it a five-star stay, though. There were small, easily repairable faults with the showers and kitchen appliances, the TV didn’t work, and residents had to find their own garbage bags and grill coals. With those things sorted, it would deserve the higher rating.

The setting is lovely and the view is amazing. The villa itself feels rather old-fashioned, and the pool is small.
