Hotel Hermes

We had a view to remember, a very comfortable room and friendly, attentive staff who quickly took care of our needs. The reception was open around the clock. There was a well-equipped gym, a relaxing spa, and a rooftop pool with lovely sunset views. Breakfast was included each morning, with fresh fruit, pastries and hot dishes to choose from. The location made it easy to get to attractions, restaurants and public transport. A memorable stay that went beyond what we expected.

You're right in the center, close to the shops and the sea. Breakfast is pretty good, and the price for what you get is top notch. My only complaint is the shower cabin: it's tiny, and anyone over 55 kilos would barely fit. I recommend it ✌🏼

My mother and I stayed in Room 304 at Hotel Hermes from August 2 to August 3. Back home, we noticed she'd left two linen dresses in the wardrobe, one white and one green. We contacted the hotel through Booking.com straight away, and they confirmed the dresses had been found and were with them. So we asked friends who were holidaying in Rhodes to pick them up for us. They were told there were no dresses and left without them. We first liked the location, bright rooms and polite reception staff, but this has left us unable to trust the hotel. They confirmed they had the items, then the dresses seemed to disappear. Maybe housekeeping didn't hand them in, or something else happened, but the hotel has taken no responsibility or given any explanation. This is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of professionalism and integrity. I absolutely don't recommend Hotel Hermes.

It's clean and very well placed if you want nightlife and easy access to the sights. But the noise carries all night, and the bar next door has live music until 1 am. I also wasn't happy when the maid turned off the air conditioning I'd left running during the day to keep the room cool for my return.
