The staff were very nice and helpful. They arranged a transfer and met us when we arrived, even though our flight was late and it was 0130. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of bars and restaurants, and the rooms are a decent size with everything needed for a holiday. The problem was how dirty the rooms were. There was no shower curtain, so water went all over the floor. The couches were filthy, and I didn’t want to sit on them. Something stuck to the iron left marks on my clothes, and my feet were black after walking on the floor. We were in Rhodes for three days and spent most of our time out, but if we’d stayed longer, I would have moved to another hotel. I saw a couple of cockroaches, though I’m not sure if that’s business as usual in Rhodes. I don’t understand why the owners don’t put profits back into the place. It could be a gem.

A really convenient spot for anyone wanting to explore the old city’s ancient sights. The hotel is close to restaurants, shopping, and the seaport. Just keep in mind the apartment is spread over two floors, with the bedrooms upstairs, if you’d rather avoid stairs. The boats for trips to other islands are about a 15-minute walk away. 🙋♀️👍

I was told to walk from the bus station, but it turned out to be a long way, with no directions provided. When I arrived, I was told I should have called. The location felt odd, by a gloomy grove, and the place seemed like a renovated slum with feral cats around. Inside, the flat was brown, dim, and dingy, with dark furnishings. The huge step from the bedroom to the bathroom, which is on a separate floor, was very inconvenient. There was no breakfast and no host on site, which made it feel inhospitable. Nobody showed me how to use the washing machine or the safe. When the machine went wrong, I was told I’d have to pay, and when money went missing, I was again told it was my fault. I found a luxurious hotel for the same price. Solo women risk being bullied.

A great little gem, quaint and fully functional, set inside a historic castle. It has all the modern conveniences and is perfectly placed for exploring the Old Town. I’d definitely stay again, especially at these cheap rates!
