We had a lovely holiday at this clean, pleasant hotel. The only bother was the noise from planes flying overhead.

This is just how my stay went, and another room may be different. My room was clean and had the basics, and the hotel seemed clean too. Staff were friendly in the few interactions I had, and the pool looked all right from a glance, though I didn't use it. The price seemed fair for the location, which is in a rather run-down rural residential area, not far from the beach or town centre. Planes flew low overhead, around 50m up, and kept roaring by late into the night. I had room 106, the first one on the left coming from the lobby. Its large glass section in the door let corridor light spill in. I asked for the lights to be switched off at night; they turned off the one right outside my door, but the others stayed on. I ended up using a spare towel to block some of the light, and it was still bright even with that nearby light off. The kitchenette tap dripped every few minutes, as did the shower. The toilet cistern leaked and refilled every 10-15 minutes, making a loud noise whether its door was open or shut. Leaving the balcony door open brought a loud whistling crosswind between the room and corridor, probably because some doors were left open. When it was hot, getting fresh air meant putting up with that noise. I spent about eight hours in bed and managed only around an hour of sleep. Maybe another room would avoid several of these small problems, though the planes would still be there. If you're a light sleeper, I'd avoid this place if you can. Otherwise, you might be fine.

We were really pleased to have booked this place. It's close to both the airport and the beach, with some good restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a balcony, kitchenette, dining table, vanity, closet and hangers. Toiletries, towels, and warm extra blankets were provided, along with everything else we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for money.

A good, affordable base for checking out the local kitesurfing. The beach is an eight-minute walk away, and the front-desk staff were helpful. Our room had induction elements, a large sink, kettle, and basic kitchenware, and the place was clean and simple. Keep in mind it's directly under the nearby airport's flight path, which gets busy in summer. Earplugs are essential!
