Lindos Mare

The staff are what made Lindos Mare unforgettable. Nikos in the restaurant stood out for his warm smile, professionalism, and genuine care, and we’ve never experienced such an effective, kind team, even after travelling a lot around Rhodes island. The facilities were outstanding too. We arrived to a warm welcome and an unexpected upgrade: a room with a private pool for three nights before moving to our booked junior suite. Both rooms were beautiful, very clean, and had breathtaking bay views. The pool room was especially lovely, since it’s at the highest point. The beach was beautiful, with crystal clear water, probably among the best we’ve visited. Depending on where your room is, there may be a few stairs to reach it, but that wasn’t a problem. There are elevators too, though they take a day or so to get used to 😀. With halfboard, we ate breakfast and dinner at Estia restaurant, where the food was very good and varied. We have no hesitation recommending the hotel.

We had an incredible stay in June, and the hotel is only a 5 min taxi ride from Lindos town. The staff were wonderful from the moment we entered reception. The porters helped each morning, arranging taxis, giving day trip and local recommendations, carrying our luggage, and arranging an upgrade after noticing my partner's birthday fell during our holiday. Having a swim up pool room for the last 2 night made his birthday special, and it was such a thoughtful gesture. Our room was spacious and spotless. The food was incredible every day: the breakfast buffet had an impressive range for everyone, and we enjoyed the dinner buffet on a couple of evenings too. The kitchen staff brought so much joy each morning and helped guests to their tables. Cannot recommend the hotel enough. We’ll definitely go back.

The easy private access to the sandy beach was one of our favourite things. It was convenient to relax by the sea, and the well-kept, peaceful beach area added to the calm, luxurious feel. This was our second visit after a wonderful holiday last year, and my husband and I had another lovely stay. The team, from beach and restaurant staff to reception, were all so friendly and greeted us warmly. We also enjoyed the delicious food, and the gym was well equipped with a fantastic sea view. We felt very well looked after, with a chilled bottle of wine waiting in an ice bucket in our room, then a bottle of spirits on another day. For my birthday, they surprised me with sparkling wine, a delicious cake, and a heartfelt note. It really made my day. The hotel offers outstanding value for money, and we can’t imagine staying elsewhere on the island. Thank you to the whole team for such warm hospitality. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The wedding I had at Lindos Mare a week ago was an absolute dream come true. Efi Papagrigorious, the Resident Manager and Wedding Coordinator, was amazing. Our family and friends loved her, and by the end of our week’s stay she felt like part of the family. The hotel has beautiful views of the beach and sea, and I’ve never met friendlier or more accommodating staff. I highly recommend it, and we can’t wait to return!
