S. Nikolis Historic Boutique Hotel

We were here with our then 5 month old baby, and had all the quiet and space we needed. S. Nikolis sits inside the old city walls, close enough to get around easily but far enough from the late night spots to keep the noise down. Everything we needed was nearby. The things I look for are clean rooms, a well maintained place, and a quiet night’s sleep. S. Nikolis delivered on all three, with great service as well. Reception and breakfast staff were all kind and helpful. Breakfast was good fuel for busy, warm days in Rhodes, though I wish they occasionally served dinner too. People recommend a lot of places too easily, especially restaurants on Rhodes, but I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. Looking for a place in old town? Look no further!

We loved our room and its balcony overlooking the courtyard, and the whole place has a wonderful atmosphere. We spent three nights at St Nikolis Hotel and enjoyed every minute. It’s in a quiet part of Rhodes town, but the busier centre is still close. The staff were superb, always lovely and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Maria at breakfast was so positive and energetic, and Aleksandros gave us helpful recommendations. The breakfast had enough options, including oatmeal, though the omelettes were a bit tasteless. Nobody mentioned the terrace to us during our five nights :/ The hotel is very central but quiet, and our room was clean and pleasantly spacious compared with many hotel rooms. Still, I expected something different from the photos on hotels.com. I thought we’d have a separate shower and an extra jacuzzi, but our room didn’t. We stayed at S. Nikolis for 5 nights.

Breakfast in the walled garden was peaceful, and there were plenty of choices on the menu. Everything was cooked to order and the food was excellent. The room was spotless and finished to a high standard. The old hotel has been renovated with real attention to detail. From the moment we arrived, the staff were genuinely friendly and professional. We found it one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at and would highly recommend it. Mike & Mo Grevatt.
