The staff were the best part of this week-long stay. They were extremely friendly and helpful, and all spoke English very well. I also loved the stray cats around the meals. You shouldn't touch them, but they kept us company while we ate, and they're adorable. Still, I don't understand how this is a 4-star hotel, and I wouldn't come back or recommend it. The noise made it hard to relax. The hotel is beside an extremely busy road that connects the airport, Rodos-city, and the tiny villages in the area, so traffic was heavy 24/7. Wind from the sea seemed to amplify the noise and batter the hotel. Our sea-view room had the road directly below the balcony. The view was amazing, but sitting outside was impossible because of the traffic. The animation was very loud too, from 18.00 until 23.30. If you want a quiet place, don't come here. Our room was dated and clean enough, but not really clean. The bed was hard, although reception can provide a topper that housekeeping will put on. The pillows were like bricks or nearly empty. There was nowhere to put a suitcase. The bathroom was a disaster: tiny, with the shower awkwardly fitted into a bathtub at an angle that made me afraid of slipping. The sink had little room for toiletries, and the only towel rack was right above the toilet, which was gross. A couple of hooks on the door would help. Food options were limited. The menu changed daily and included Greek dishes, but everything was cold or barely warm. The same desserts came every day, just with a different petit four or jello flavor. Drink and snack options felt sad for an all-inclusive hotel: alcohol, fizzy drinks, or a disgusting cup of coffee, plus a couple of pastries and a cookie. I would have liked fruit, yogurt, or crisps during the day. There were places to lounge, but the lobby's sagging couches were in a busy, noisy area, so it wasn't relaxing. The pool area was fine, though the pool was green with algae and cold. I'd choose the sea instead. Bring water shoes for the pebble-and-sand beach. There's a taxi stand close by, and I'd recommend taking a cab. Prices are fixed, with an extra fee for pickup at the hotel, and it's not expensive.

The pool surroundings were beautiful, with sunbathing spots beside the water, on the grass, and on the terraces. The sea and mountain views were stunning. You can walk to Rhodes in about 40 minutes along the sea, with lovely scenery the whole way. The food was very tasty, with lots of different Greek dishes. Staff were friendly everywhere, and I especially want to praise the bartender. The cocktails had a wonderful balance of flavors and looked great. The cleaning was very disappointing. Cleaning a room should mean more than changing towels: the floor wasn't cleaned, and during our 10-day stay the bed linen was changed only twice. My husband and I hadn't paid for two single beds pushed together, which kept sliding apart. Trash like sugar packets, candy wrappers, and plastic bags sat by the pool for all 10 days. The beach was uncomfortable and quite dirty, with broken buckets, bottles, and plastic bags. The sunbeds don't belong to the hotel, so you have to pay for them. Wishing you success, great reviews, and happy guests. Please improve the cleaning throughout the hotel.

We didn't know the stay was all-inclusive until we arrived, so that was a surprise. The staff were great, kind, and helpful, and having a pool to unwind in after exploring the town and hills was lovely. There's a bus stop right next to the hotel. Bring beach shoes for the stony shore, and expect some noise from the nearby street, one of the island's main roads. It's a great place if you don't want drunk people around all night.

The evenings were a highlight, thanks to Bados, the barman. His energy and humor kept us entertained, whether he was making cocktails or making us laugh. He's a real gem. We slept so much better after the wonderful cleaning staff fitted a mattress topper for us. They kept our room immaculate and clearly cared about guest comfort. The reception team also made a great first impression, greeting us warmly and handling every question or request with genuine care. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, which made the holiday feel relaxed and stress-free. Every staff member helped make the stay fabulous. I'd return to Hotel Serene without hesitation. Huge thanks to everyone at Hotel Serene for making our holiday so special!

We had a mixed stay because of an unpleasant situation with other guests, which wasn't something the hotel could control. The staff listened to our concerns, acted straight away, and even brought us a fruit basket and wine to cheer us up. Their care and professionalism helped us enjoy the rest of our holiday. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was fresh with plenty of variety, and the hotel's location was excellent. We were especially impressed by how friendly and involved the whole team was. Thanks for looking after us so well.
