Silver Beach Hotel and Annexe Apartments

The food was awful, with everything extremely greasy. And the bathroom was filthy and looked like it hadn't been renovated in 10 years. Showering sent water splashing all over the room. When we arrived, it was obvious our room hadn't been cleaned before us. Dust was clearly visible on every surface, the floors were dirty, and there was hair everywhere. The bed linen was stained and filthy. If you don't want your holiday ruined, don't make my mistake and stay here.

The only good things are how close the hotel is to the beach and market. It’s about 3 minutes from the beach and 1 minute from a market. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Renting a nearby apartment and doing your own cooking and cleaning would be better. It wasn't worth it. The room had two single beds pushed together. They were okay, I guess, but slipped apart on the first night and I fell between them. I had to pay extra per day for AC, and there were no mosquito nets. After sleeping with the balcony door open, I woke up covered in mosquito bites. During the whole week I was there, the floors weren't swept or mopped, and the sheets and towels weren't changed. They only emptied the trash bins. The food was the same every day. I ate chicken thighs every day. Some things were edible, but none of it was good. The vinegar smelled foul, and some of the silverware was already dirty before I used it.

We really enjoyed our stay and I’d absolutely recommend this place. Our room was cleaned every day, and the bedsheets were changed every four days. Breakfast and dinner were nice, with dinner a clear 10/10 and local Corfu dishes on offer. The pool was great too, and drinks were very reasonably priced. There were loads of mosquitoes around Roda. We used body spray and plug-in repellents to protect ourselves.

Anna and her team were so welcoming and friendly. I was here for 7 nights on my own, and the hotel was clean, with a lovely pool and a great location. I'd definitely stay again.
