Theodoros Resort Hotel

We spent a week here in October and really enjoyed it. Rodain is a peaceful resort in the north of Corfu. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great, and the rooms were clean and well cared for. Definitely worth a trip.

The grounds are beautiful, the pool is lovely, very clean and inviting, and the staff are friendly and do their best to help. But we wouldn't return. Our room was tiny, with no living area, and the bathroom was ridiculously small. The shower doors were hanging off their hinges, and more water ended up on the floor than in the shower. We had two bedrooms and were charged €20 per night for air conditioning, €10 for each room, even though we only used it in one. We were told drinks bought outside couldn't be brought around the pool and we'd be charged, even for a bottle of water. On arrival, my son had tonsillitis and a cold drink from the airport; he put it on the table without even drinking it, and we were told straight away it would be added to our bill. We'd just arrived and didn't know the rules. Breakfast was good but took over an hour some mornings, and ordered drinks took ages to arrive. The pool bar was barely staffed, so there was often nobody to serve you. There were wasps everywhere, with nests all around. You couldn't relax on a sunbed without at least six diving at you. Two people in our party were stung on the first day, and we had to keep jumping into the pool to get away from them. I don't know why the nests couldn't be removed. The food looked great, but we couldn't sit inside or out without wasps coming straight over, so we went out each night.

We're here on our first stay now, and already know it won't be our last. It's the loveliest hotel we've stayed in. The rooms are great, big enough for us and with everything we need. On day one we found the screen door was broken, and it was fixed before the day was over. Everyone on staff is lovely and does all they can to help. There's no rush for sunbeds because there are loads, and with my health and mobility issues, it's easy to reach one. The food is excellent, and the B&B breakfast has plenty for everyone. A little shop is just across the road, about 15 steps away, and other restaurants and bars are a five to ten minute walk. Everything's handy. We found two proper cash machines, one on the main street and another by the beach near crazy forks etc. There's also one outside the theodoros, but that's a Euronet machine, so avoid it if you can. We love this wee hotel. Everyone makes you feel so welcome, and I can see why people love Roda. We'll definitely be back ❤️

We had a wonderful holiday at the Theodoros. Our superior two-bedroom duplex was right by the pool, and both the staff and the food were great. The resort grounds are beautiful, and Theos is an easy walk from Roda's main strip. A lovely place to stay ❤️
