Valentinos Apartments

I like the place. The rooms are a little dated but get cleaned regularly, and there's a good-sized pool and a great bar. It's just far enough from the main area to be quieter, without being too far away. It does what it says on the tin.

The best part was leaving, and I learned the hard way to check reviews first. You do get what you pay for. The room was very compact, and even after running the water for 15 minutes we barely had any hot water. The first couple of days were okay, but after that the bins weren't emptied for three days, including up to when we left. We ended up emptying the toilet and kitchen bins ourselves. The toilet brush holder was completely rusty, so I didn't want to use it. M@S

I love Valentinos Apartments, and Spiros at the bar is friendly and helpful. The apartments are clean, though dated, and just a short walk from the beach, bars, and restaurants. A comfortable chair would be useful because at the moment you have to sit on the bed. There should also be somewhere to hang swimwear and pool towels.

We've come back here many times for the location. It's close to the restaurants and beach, but set back a little, which makes for a quieter stay. The staff are friendly and the apartments are spacious, with comfortable beds. The pool and bar are run separately, and they're friendly and fun.
