Happy Camp in Camping Karavomilos Beach

We booked a mobile home through Happy Camp. It was simple and perfectly fine, and the campsite pool area was clean and fun. The water play toys were a nice thing to have for our grandchildren.

We loved the quiet beach right in front, almost empty and covered with large white stones. Karavomilos Beach Camping is a beautiful spot by the sea, with old trees providing lots of shade. Everyone was incredibly friendly. I can only recommend it!

The campsite is good value and well located on the island, with lots of shady spaces. We had no trouble finding a great spot during the week of August 15. It’s mainly a family campsite with lots of kids. As a light sleeper, I brought earplugs because many campers don’t respect Greek quiet hours, though it was never extremely loud after midnight. The pool and restaurant are very nice, but prices are a bit high. The main drawback was the bathroom and shower cleanliness. Unless you go just after they’ve been cleaned, there can be toilet paper everywhere and lots of hair in the shower drains. Some shower handles were completely broken. It didn’t bother me too much once I learned the cleaning times and used the bathrooms then.

The restaurant and pool were the best parts of the camp. There’s also a place to cook and eat, plus a fridge you can rent. The beach itself isn’t great, but you can set yourself up by the pool for free, and the sea is only 10 meters away when you want to dive in. The camp is well organized, with all the essentials. The toilets and showers could use a little upgrade, but they work and, more importantly, are clean. Without a doubt, this has been my best camping experience so far. Absolutely perfect combination!
