Kyma

We had a spectacular view from a comfortable room, and the staff were so helpful. They even called the bus service to check departure times for us. If you meet Yannis (or "John"), he’s amazing and really laid-back. The location is right in the center, close to restaurants, shops, and bars. The beds weren’t very comfortable, though, and there was no holder for the shower head.

We had a garden-facing room, which I’d choose over a harbor view. It had a washbasin, and the shared bathroom outside the room was clean and perfectly adequate. The owners were kind, too. Since the hotel is right in central Sami and close to the tavernas, it’s a good option if that’s where you want to stay.

We only planned to spend one night at Kyma, but ended up staying four. The owners are such kind, special people, and they helped us figure out what to see around Sami. They made our time in Kefalonia wonderful. We loved our stay and would happily recommend the place. Already looking forward to coming back!

The rooms were comfortable, the staff friendly, and the price was good. It’s right in the centre of Sami, which is a great location. The showers had low pressure, and there weren’t many power sockets in the rooms.
