The pool and terrace were excellent, with amazing views, and the Beach Club had a lovely outlook over the bay along with good food and drinks. We had a great family week at Mare Nostrum Villas with 13 people. Villas 3 and 4 connect by stairs, so having two kitchens and two fridges worked perfectly for us. There was loads of room and the villa was comfortable. Definitely recommend it for families.

At least the water was clean and parking wasn’t too difficult to find. The sea itself is really good, but the service was among the worst I’ve experienced. Staff forgot things and served their friends ahead of people who were waiting. The manager seemed unable to manage them, and the staff were generally incompetent. Coffee was 4.30 euros and wasn’t worth the price. I understand they may be tired or not enjoy the job, but they smiled only for tourists and spoke to us as if we smelled bad just because we didn’t order much. It was disgraceful.

We had a great week in one of the villas, with plenty of room for three families. The terrace has an awesome view over the bay, and the beach is only a few steps away when you want a change from the private pool. There’s good food and drinks too if you fancy a break from both. Service was great and the host was very friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more. Best regards to Panos :)

The beach is awesome, but the hotel and its bars act like they own the place. They leave towels on half the sunbeds to reserve them for friends or people they like. I wouldn’t go back.

The name says it all. They act as if they own the sea, and the music is so loud and aimed out at the bay that everyone there has to listen to it all day. It’s an example of arrogance and the opposite of sustainable tourism.
