Samos is beautiful, but this hotel felt very basic, even for a three-star place. A few changes could make it much better. The reception staff weren't rude, but they came across a little cold and could have made us feel more welcome as guests on holiday. There were some good points: the AC worked, the room was a decent size for two with plenty of outlets, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good enough. But we didn't get a welcome drink, internet was very patchy, and there were no hooks for towels near the shower. Towels were changed only twice in the week, and only after we asked. Cleaning was minimal. They emptied the bins daily, but the marks on the mirror never came off. The indoor bar looked like a prop, since I never saw anyone drinking there or any bar staff working. There was no do not disturb sign for the door. With all the great reviews, I came away disappointed.

I never felt welcome or comfortable here, which is a shame because it could be a very nice place for a short stay if guests were treated with more warmth and understanding. Most of the staff seemed rude or indifferent, and the manageress was absent and rude. When guests raised concerns, they were met with sarcasm and no interest. The studio rooms are very small and in a noisy area. Cleaning also varied from day to day, depending on who was on duty.

A few extra notes for anyone planning a stay: rent a car on time in Samos, my dear friend Vangelis :) Glicorisa beach, Asteria seaside experience, Gagou beach within walking distance of Hotel Anthemis, Taverna Maritsa, and Asimopetra Restaurant, one of the best food experiences I've had. Enjoy your vacation on Samos Island. We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment room was comfortable and clean, and the hotel felt peaceful and quiet. There was a stunning sea view and six turtle friends 🐢. The pool and pool bar were good, as was breakfast. Parking is available in front of the hotel. The area is small, but I never had a problem parking. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay on Samos Island.

We loved this hotel and would very likely come back. The pool is lovely, a nice option after a tiring morning, and breakfast is available if you want it. We stayed two nights in room number 7. We were greeted warmly when we arrived, and the room was spacious, well designed, clean, and comfortable. The view, as you can see in the photos, was amazing. There's guest parking, but we only found a space there once. There are other places to park close by. The drive from the port isn't long, though the road is narrow and uphill, so I wouldn't recommend driving up it if you're a new driver.
