We stayed five nights at ailouris hotel and everything was perfect. The room was nicely decorated, with mosquito screens on every window, and the sea view at sunset was great. I also had a wonderful yoga session in a lovely area. The beach and village are close, so we walked everywhere without needing a car. We fully recommend the hotel. Thanks so much.

Ailouros was probably the nicest place we stayed on this holiday. The rooms are beautiful and have their own terrace overlooking the sunset, and the hotel is close to town and everything else. The team gave us great service, including rides to and from the port for the ferry. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

The veranda was wonderful for breakfast with a view of the bay, a nap in the hot afternoon, or cards and ouzo under the stars. The apartment itself was marvellous, in a gorgeous building, with great services and comfortable beds. Eirini and her man were fabulous hosts. They helped us with luggage and rides to and from the harbour, and shared useful tips for our stay on beautiful Schinousa.

Manos, the owner, was friendly, quick to answer questions, and helpful. The place is only a few minutes’ walk from the center, so it’s convenient while still quiet. We had a lovely stay and can highly recommend it. Our room had been renovated this year with a lot of taste. It was bright, charming, and spacious enough to feel comfortable. From the little patio we could see the harbour and Iraklia. The beds were very comfortable, with outlets beside both sides and plenty more around the room, plus wall lamps bright enough for reading. There were plates, cups, and glasses for two, a kettle, a French press, coffee, and tea. Plants, including grape plants, added some greenery in front. There was even a small bottle of raki to enjoy.

The studio was lovely and super clean, and each evening we watched the sunset from the balcony. It stayed cool at night even in mid August. We had a wonderful stay with my partner in August 2020. Our host met us at the port, drove us to the accommodation, and took us back again at the end. They also suggested some of the island’s best beaches and places to rent a scooter or car. Breakfast was delicious and filling enough to keep us going for hours. The center, with its bars and restaurants, was just a two or three minute walk away. One of our favorite meals was even closer, about 30 seconds behind the studios. I’d recommend staying here to anyone visiting the island. It was perfect!
