A quiet spot away from the crowds, yet the town is within walking distance. There’s gorgeous swimming nearby, and the hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. It was my favourite place on my Greece trip. Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed here twice, most recently for 12 days. Leda and her team create a relaxing, sustainable holiday experience on the magical Spinalonga Peninsula. Highly recommended for a unique and peaceful break. It can get very hot in summer, so keep in mind that there’s no AC because of the sustainability policy. The apartments do have windows at the front and back for natural airflow, as well as ceiling or wall fans.

We stayed in apartment V6. It’s a great place to unwind while exploring the local scenery and culture. There are hiking trails around the island, beautiful views of Mirabello, and Elounda’s tavernas are a short walk away. Leda and Lucas add a personal touch with their warm welcome and helpful advice. Bird lovers and photographers might be lucky enough to spot kingfishers. Nearby Plaka and easy access to Spinalonga Island make for a fun day out, and the trip is available for a reasonable price.
