There was nobody there when we arrived. Luckily, someone who was leaving helped us get in touch with a person by phone, and they arranged a shuttle to a different hotel nearby.

The air conditioning was good, but there were cockroaches twice. The place needs work, some furniture damaged by flooding should be replaced, and the WiFi barely worked.

We liked the quiet. The place feels peaceful and relaxing, almost a little lost in time.

Affordable apartments right in Elounda.

The area is beautiful, but the stay was awful. We were told to leave our suitcases in the lower-left room while checking in at the main building upstairs. After that, a “shuttle car” took us back down, and it turned out that room was where we were meant to stay for all 14 days. It was very noisy, with taxis and buses stopping right by the terrace even at night to pick up or drop off tourists. Never again.
