Elounda Stories Boutique Hotel

Just a two minute walk from the sea, with a breathtaking view, Stories hotel made our stay feel special. Our room was spacious, stylish and luxurious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything was spotless throughout our visit. The staff paid attention to the things we needed beyond the usual service and went out of their way to look after us. We can’t recommend this place enough, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

We’d been to Elounda three years ago and stayed elsewhere, but this time the modern complex and easy walk into town convinced us to try Elounda Stories. We’re glad we did. The team were lovely and took good care of us, and we enjoyed the modern rooms, the pool and the breakfast. It was quiet during our stay, though I can imagine it getting very popular as the season picks up. We’d also recommend MG car rental across from the hotel. For a special meal or a drink with a view, Mamma Mios is well worth the drive or taxi ride. Thanks for a special stay.

Eleni, the lovely owner, checked in on us each day and shared helpful ideas for trips and local attractions. We were also able to get into our room early, and were given a complimentary upgrade. The hotel is brand new, stylish and beautifully designed. Our room felt luxurious and had everything we needed. There’s free parking nearby, which made things easy. We’d love to stay again. Highly recommended, 10 out of 10 across the board!

The best part of staying here is how close everything is: local restaurants, boats to Spinalonga, the shops on Elounda square, casual nightlife, grocery stores and the sea are all within walking distance. There’s a small hotel parking lot, useful since there aren’t many other places to park. The hotel also has a bar, cafe and small pool. Our breakfast had a decent range, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices. We could order ahead and they were flexible about serving time, which helped since we were travelling early. We visited at the start of the season, and the team made us feel special. It’s a relaxed place with modern lines and just enough room to feel comfortable. The rooms each have a slightly different layout. Ours had a rain shower, a comfortable bed, iron and ironing board, toothbrush, shampoo, two small bottles of water, hand and body soap, a small fridge and access to outdoor space. There were enough outlets, plus both USB and C plug charging. Some rooms have a tub, while others have a hot tub on the balcony. We noticed a large family suite that could suit kids or another couple, so it may be worth checking which room type fits your needs. We were surprised by how clean and beautiful this Botique hotel was, right in the heart of Elounda and just steps from the sea. We appreciated the warm welcome and personal attention, and will definitely be back.
