Alkion Hotel Sidari

I was travelling alone, but they made me feel welcome and part of the alkion family. From michael and sherry at reception to the waiting staff, bar staff, and cleaners, everyone made my holiday. The food was varied and lovely, with something for everyone. I’ve only been home a few hours and I’m already looking at booking again for September. Thank you, ALKION sidari.

A really good hotel with great service and food. The rooms are basic, though I haven’t stayed in one of the newly refurbished ones, and most places we’ve stayed are similar. I can’t comment on the evening entertainment because we go out to the strip. Aside from that, it’s a great place to stay.

The only drawback for us was that the rooms, especially the bathrooms, are a bit dated. The beds are incredibly comfortable, though, and each room has a fridge and air conditioning. The fridge is free, while there’s a daily charge for the air con. We heard the bathrooms may be upgraded before next season, so we’ll see next year, because we’ll definitely be back. The location is ideal between Canal D'amour and 'The Strip'. Staff are amazing, the pool is clean and has plenty of loungers, and breakfast is a buffet. Half board includes a buffet dinner with lots of options, mixing traditional Greek food with a few UK dishes with a Greek twist. If you’re not on half board, there are plenty of restaurants nearby for all tastes.

We had a wonderful holiday in Corfu and no complaints. The hotel is in a great spot for walking into Sidari for bars and restaurants, as well as to the beach. The friendly team is well staffed, and both the rooms and shared areas were kept clean. We enjoyed the breakfast, pool, bar, and evening entertainment.
