Elves Studios& Apartments

During our 10 day holiday, we were moved repeatedly to make space for other guests. We were asked to move into a room with a floating floor, steep steps and no banister, which was unsafe for my 13 month old baby, who could have wandered towards the edge and fallen straight down to the ground floor. We said it wasn't suitable, then staff and the other guests hounded us. My parents ended up moving rooms three times, each one smaller, after paying for two family rooms. They couldn't even unpack their suitcases. On the last night our room was taken, so we had to switch into another person in our party's room, which had no children. That left them on a single bed on the floor in my mum's room. The hotel replied to our review claiming we snuck people in, even though they provided the bed for our guest. We had no water for a full day, the WiFi didn't work, door handles were falling off everywhere, and sinks wouldn't drain. There was no proper clean, just fresh towels left on the wall outside.

Maria was lovely when we booked at the last minute by calling her after we reached the property. She let us pick from the available rooms, and we paid her the next day. She also arranged for us to extend our stay by one more night. It's an economical option near Sidari centre, about a five minute walk away, with parking outside. The place is decent for the price, with basic but functional facilities. Bring your own toiletries, though handwash is provided. The main drawback was the shower, with weak water flow and poor temperature control.

The rooms were clean and tidy, and the host was really kind. Our bedroom had a nice style and some cool details that made it different from the others. The bathroom was narrow but functional, with everything necessary. It's a little outside the centre, which makes it quiet, and the centre is still a quick five minute walk away. There is a parking lot just outside the property. The only room available had two separate single beds, as the booking mentioned. Air conditioning costs extra. We didn't use it and slept well anyway.

For the money, these tiny rooms were amazingly comfy and I really can't find anything negative. I was just too big to fit in the shower.
