Kostas Apartments

We were there for four nights on a half-board deal that cost about £1000. We only used the pool for half a day and spent most of our time elsewhere, so that's the extent of what we can speak to. The room was modern and spacious, with a proper full-size double/king bed rather than two singles pushed together, which my partner was very pleased about. The shower looked modern and worked better than ours at home. Our three-bedroom room was on the second floor by the pool, and we had no issues with it. The maid came in about every two days to clean, and she was lovely. The staff were a real highlight. The woman who welcomed us and showed us to the room was bubbly and lovely, and the people serving breakfast and dinner were friendly too. There was even a bit of comedy at dinner that helped us settle in. Breakfast is served at the bar by the pool after 9am, with a choice of dishes. I had the full English and liked it; my partner enjoyed yogurt and honey. It came with four slices of toast, jam and butter, orange juice, and tea or coffee. Dinner at the restaurant next door was good, though it varied from night to night. Our portions seemed smaller than those served to people paying at the restaurant, so make of that what you will. Drinks aren't included with half board, and they take cash or card, though I was told they prefer cash. We paid around €36 for four days of air conditioning, which felt reasonable and was essential in July. There was also a €6 tax to pay at the hotel after 6pm on our arrival day. One downside was noise coming in from outside. People across the street were very loud during the football, though they weren't staying at our hotel. We gave four stars because of the smaller dinner portions and the lack of included drinks. If you aren't on half board, we'd happily give it five.

Apartment 1 was just right for us when we stayed at Kostas last summer. It was peaceful and spotlessly clean, and we could use the pool at the complex next door. The owners were so friendly and lovely. We're hoping to get Apartment 1 again when we come back in July. Can't wait!

We love these apartments and are going back in four weeks. They're affordable, clean, and lovely, with really nice people. The hotel next door shares its bar, food, and pool with them. It's a quiet spot, but still close to everything, about 150m from the beach and 400m from the centre.

I'd definitely recommend staying here.
