We stayed in our room until 5pm for an evening flight, and the cleaner arranged it for an extra 40€, which I thought was reasonable for six more hours. I’ve paid 15€ an hour for that before. It’s a quiet place, so if you want a bar and food on site, you may prefer somewhere else. Our room number was on a letter by the entrance, and the key was waiting in the door. The apartments were clean and well equipped, and the cleaning staff were attentive and happy to help. You pay extra for AC, as you do elsewhere, and there’s a 2€ daily room tax that we knew about in advance. The cleaner collected it and was fine waiting until her next visit. There’s a nice walk to the main strip, with good places to eat and drink along the way, many cheaper and better than on the strip. We’ve just come back from a week here and had a wonderful stay. Give it a try, and don’t let the negative comments put you off.

We’ve just got back from an amazing week here. The apartments were spotless and in a beautiful location. Angela, the cleaner, was so friendly and pleasant, and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. The owner was ready to do anything for us too. We’d highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

Angela, the cleaner, was lovely and made us feel right at home. We had a relaxing, comfortable stay at Megali Luxuries. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the pool area was clean and peaceful, with green grass and plenty of room to unwind. The air conditioning worked really well in the heat and cost €8 per day. Room tax was €2 per day, and late checkout was available for €40. Highly recommend!

We’re on night eight of ten and all of us are really happy here. Angela the cleaner is amazing, and everyone has been super friendly. I’m here with my wife, our seven-year-old son, who has non-verbal autism, and our five-year-old daughter. Everyone has been lovely to our son, and he’s loved the stay. We’d 100% recommend it, from the Scottish family in room 13.

The pool and garden are really well kept, and every room looks out onto them. The rooms are a good standard for self-catering accommodation in Corfu and have the essentials, though they could use some updating and a few extra touches. There wasn’t much cutlery or crockery, enough for us, but a few more things for cooking and eating would’ve helped. It’s a great find in Sidari, just far enough back from the main strip to be central but very quiet. There’s no reception or bar, so it stays chilled out. The nearest beach is a minute away, with lots of places to eat and drink nearby.
