I paid €500 for seven days after booking on the spot, and felt it was worth it for the peace, space, and views. From my sunny balcony, I could look out at the seafront without any distracting views. It was huge, with doors into both rooms. One room had a large double bed and lots of built-in wardrobe space; the other had a single bed, a sofa, and a small kitchen counter with a kettle, drink condiments, and an under-counter fridge with a little freezer compartment. The bathroom was a reasonable size, with a shower hose over a small bath, toilet, and sink. I booked seven days at the last minute and they were very helpful accommodating me. Sitting with a latte and looking at the beautiful, peaceful view, I felt at ease and knew I’d made a good choice. I hired a car, and there’s a large car park. If you’re just visiting Canal D’Amour for the day, some places offer parking for certain hours at around €5. For guests staying at local hotels, including Socrates, parking is free.

The apartment had a nice one-bedroom layout, though a small kitchenette would make it perfect. Food and drinks were lovely and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly with great service. The location is fantastic, with a large balcony looking out over the sea. I’ll return.

We were there in August 2024 and wished we could have stayed longer. The food was outstanding, the rooms were cleaned every day, and the staff were amazing and really friendly. There was always a sunbed free. Best hotel in Corfu.

The views were incredible, our room was perfect, and The Rock restaurant had great food and drinks. The owner and staff were among the most hospitable people we’ve ever met. Such an amazing hotel, highly recommend it.

Breakfast was a buffet, with hot dishes made to order in whatever combinations you wanted. The bar area was comfortable, and we could watch the footie and boxing there. Outside, there was plenty of seating in both sun and shade, with lovely views along the coast and out to sea. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making a real effort to welcome us. They learned all our names and spoke great English. Rooms were clean and comfortable, each with a lovely sea view. The location was handy, just a short stroll to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The pool was clean and had comfortable sunloungers. Some people might find the rooms basic, but for this price bracket I honestly can’t fault the hotel. I’d recommend it.
