There was enough space for our family of five, and the place was ready for us when we arrived. Staff changed the sheets almost every day. They also left a little basket with marmalade, toast, honey, and biscuits, and refreshed it every other day, even though that wasn’t included. A lovely gesture. The apartment had two levels, with an elevated ground floor and an old Cycladic style basement. The basement felt cave-like, but stayed at a comfortable temperature all day, even at 35-40 Celsius, without air conditioning. It had a double bed with a pretty good mattress. Another double bed was on the elevated basement level, though its mattress was too hard for my taste. The third double bed was on a raised wooden platform over the stairs down to the basement. My older son found his own quiet spot there, and I had a very good nap on it too. The stairs to the basement are a little narrow. The kids treated them as a game, but very small children need watching all the time. The kitchen is small, but you can prepare milk for the kids. The little fridge worked well, though we had to adjust its temperature when we arrived. Cleanliness matters both post covid and pre-covid, and this place was very well prepared. I absolutely recommend staying here, and had a great time!

We were two families, each with two children, and stayed for six nights last week. The location is beautiful, and the balconies were lovely for breakfast. The rooms were clean, and a breakfast basket with small snacks and juice arrived every morning. The old beds creaked loudly whenever we moved, got up, or lay down. We asked for a playpen for the babies, but it came without a mattress, so they couldn’t stand or sleep in it. They brought a blanket to use instead, but unfortunately that didn’t work for us.

We ended up staying three nights instead of the two we planned because we left it too late to book ferry tickets to Santorini. Giannakas Studios was a great place to stay. It’s a few steps from the beach, near local restaurants, and convenient for car rental. The room was clean, the shower had excellent pressure, and the staff were kind and helpful. Good stuff.

The rooms are close to the beach, clean, and well equipped. There’s a small balcony where you can sit outside in the quiet and enjoy the breeze. A kind lady was there whenever we needed anything, and left biscuits, jam, and other breakfast things for us each morning. We could take beach towels and swap them daily for fresh ones. The rooms are a little old, though still nice. I’d booked a double bed but got two single beds pushed together. Those were minor issues, though. We had a great stay at a reasonable price, and I’ve no complaints.
