Castello Boutique Suites by the sea - Adults Only

Dimitri at Origins made our stay at Castello Boutique Suites especially memorable. He knew the menu so well that we followed his suggestions twice, ordering the burger and sea bass risotto, both among the best meals we had on the island. His Banoffee suggestion was delicious too. He also remembered I like my mocktails without sugar and made refreshing, flavorful drinks. He was attentive and honest, and made the experience feel personal. The hotel itself was beautiful and we had a lovely stay. My Cretan scrub at the spa was fantastic and left me refreshed, though the space felt more casual and comfortable than luxurious. A few calming scents and softer background music could make it more relaxing. Room service wasn’t available around the clock, and bottled water wasn’t topped up daily, so we bought it at the bar. Once, after asking for room service, we found the towels hadn’t been replenished and the empty Moët bottle we’d ordered was still there. With a few service and amenity improvements, it could be a perfect getaway. Thanks to Dimitri, we’ll remember it fondly.

Dinner was a treat each night, with fresh, high-quality choices and great service. The pool area was also peaceful compared with other all-inclusive places we’ve stayed. Our spacious suite was comfortable, with a cozy bed and a lovely view of the rocky sea. The decor and amenities showed care in the details. From arrival, the staff made us feel welcome. The hotel was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway in Crete.

The two nights in the boutique suites felt like a dream, and the rooms had a honeymoon-level feel that would be perfect for a couple’s getaway. We’d been upgraded by a partner hotel, which had already set expectations high. The hotel has so many amenities you barely need to leave. The only downside for me was the limited breakfast selection. Beautiful place and wonderful service.

The food was brilliant.
