Ammoa Luxury Hotel & Spa Resort

The swim-up room was beautiful, and the hotel itself has lovely accommodation, but our 14-day stay left us disappointed with much of the rest. It’s very remote, so you’ll need a hire car to shop for extras. We had just one complimentary bottle of water per room each day, and the welcome wine and fruit didn’t arrive until three days after check-in. We booked Half Board and were surprised that drinks weren’t included with meals. Even water was charged to our room at €3.50 a bottle. In my experience, tipping the waiters at mealtimes seemed necessary to get served. The bar and a La carte options were also very expensive: draught beer cost €7 per 500ml, while bars in Nikiti charged around €4.5 to €5.5. The communal dining food was average, with little variety and much the same offerings every day. The gym was dreadful: all the cardio equipment was broken and there were only a few weights. The overall service was below average. To me, this is five-star accommodation with everything else closer to two or three stars, and the gym gets zero. Ammoa, you can do better. Please sort out the service and gym.

Breakfast and dinner were consistently delicious, fresh, and had a great selection. Our stay at Ammoa Resort and Spa was smooth and relaxing, exactly what we needed. The cleaning team were wonderful. Our room was always spotless, and they were polite and friendly whenever we saw them. Their attention to detail really showed. Evgenia at reception and the blond lady who showed us around were also helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout. The rest of the reception team could learn from them. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and are looking forward to coming back.

We were very happy with our stay at Ammoa Luxury. The beach was amazing, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the food really good. The only thing that bothered us a little was how dirty the sun lounger cushions were, perhaps because it was the end of the season. Otherwise, we had a great experience, would recommend the hotel, and would love to return.

Our honeymoon at this resort was unforgettable. We stayed three nights, and from arrival we felt special: there was a refreshing drink to welcome us and a lovely fruit plate in the room. The hotel also set up a private Bali bed for us by the sea, which made it even more romantic. Everyone we met, from the bellboy and reception to guest relations, the restaurant staff, and the beach team, was smiling and genuinely attentive. Often they seemed to know what we needed before we asked. The housekeeping manager and maids kept everything spotless and were always helpful. I especially appreciated the beach staff, who worked all day in the sun and were still kind, friendly, and ready to help with a smile. Breakfast and dinner buffets had an incredible range, and everything we tried was delicious. The resort exceeded our expectations, made our honeymoon feel special, and we’d love to come back.
