House Blerina

We picked an apartment with its own terrace, but when we arrived they gave us the room we’d clearly said no to. The free morning coffee was as promised, which was good. Earlier, while holidaying elsewhere in Sarti, we’d gone to ask about booking for September. The owner acted as if she didn’t speak English, though we later heard her speaking it fluently with other guests. While we were asking about the price, she quickly raised the Booking price, so it felt like we were expected to agree to whatever was quoted in person.

Such a warm welcome, and the room was clean and nice. Thanks so much. I’ll stay here again next time!

There’s no breakfast, but each morning we got coffee and mineral water for free from the hosts’ bar across the road on the beach. Guests at House Blerina can also use the sun loungers and umbrellas there without charge. The location worked really well, just a short walk from the town center and with the beach right across the road. The sea entry is gradual, and the water was wonderfully clear and warm. From the beach you can look toward Mount Athos, a few kilometers away, or take an organized boat trip nearby if the wind isn’t too strong. Our room had new furniture and was kept clean, with fresh towels every day. The hosts were welcoming too. We’d gladly return to Sarti and stay here again.

We felt right at home, and the rooms worked well for us. Peter and his lovely wife gave us such a wonderful holiday, and the atmosphere was great. A big thank you to the girls and Tim at the bar too, you’re all the best. We’ll remember you! ❤️🇬🇷
