Maria Village

The garden was a relaxing spot, shaded by pine trees, with a kids' playground, nice grass, sofas, and an outdoor kitchen guests can use. Our room was new and clean, with a wide balcony. Maria Village is in a great location in Vourvourou, just 50 m from a small beach, 850 m from Karidi, and 1500 m from Fava beach. There’s a supermarket and a traditional restaurant right across the road. Very comfortable and restful.

The balcony has a nice view, and there’s plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and everything seemed well cared for. It’s in a quiet area, about a 15-minute walk from the center of Afytos. The beach is close, though we recommend driving because the hill is steep.

The back yard is cozy, with a grill, washing machine, and a kids' playground. The room setup was fairly okay for the size, with a queen bed and a bunk bed for two kids. The bathroom is around 2m², and the kitchen shares an open space with the sleeping area. All in all, it's a cozy place, but I wouldn't value it at more than 50€ per night, given that the sheets and towels were changed only once during our 9 day stay.

Friendly staff who are always ready to help, plus the property has its own parking. It sits behind one of the 3 best taverns in Vourvourou. I'd say it's worth a try, especially if you can get a ground floor room with direct access to the garden.
