Christina, her husband, and their lovely big dog Bizu made us feel welcome. The studios are close to the beach, in a quiet area that suited a peaceful, private break. They keep the accommodation well cared for, and fresh sheets and towels were provided every five days. It’s dog-friendly too, so a comfortable option if you’re travelling with a pet.

Our car broke down on the way to the booking, and we even sent the host photos. Since it was Saturday, no car repair shop was open in Greece, so we had no choice but to return to Macedonia. Getting back cost us a ridiculous amount. We politely asked for a refund because this was beyond our control, but she refused, comparing it to a flight cancellation even though those situations aren’t the same. Our holiday was ruined, and the place could easily have been rented to someone else for those dates, earning twice. They were completely unresponsive and only speak Greek. I wouldn’t recommend them.

The beach is clean and just a three-minute walk away, and there’s a big green garden where kids and dogs can play after the beach. Elvira speaks only Greek, but that wasn’t much of a problem since Google Translate works. I really like this place and would come back to this yard next time.
