The owner's son seems great, and he was the only staff member who was polite and friendly. The owner herself was unpleasant and seemed to care only about payment, not the service. I spent five minutes arguing over a second roll of toilet paper, which she kept refusing before finally giving in. That was while we were paying 160 euro/night, and the roll costs about 0.20 euro cents. It was just one example of the pointless arguments and discussions we had. It's a shame, because the place seems to be going downhill otherwise, and I hope her son takes over its management soon.

We keep returning to Studio Giannis in beautiful Toroni, with its breathtaking sunsets, and to our lovely landlady Ana. The rooms are lovely, clean, and modernly furnished, with everything needed for a relaxed, stress-free holiday. From the terrace there's a view of the turquoise, crystal-clear sea and the blue flag beach. The beach has enough sunbeds and umbrellas, at reasonable prices listed for each room. There's private parking within the complex, along with a pastry shop for an extra treat. It's a peaceful, beautiful place, especially suited to families, and I recommend Studio Giannis. It feels like home.

We booked an expensive room through Booking for four nights, but on arrival they said the room we'd reserved wasn't available. They hadn't contacted us beforehand, and said we'd need to move to a different room every day. We didn't have much choice and agreed, but the room was awful, unclean, and had a very strong, terrible sewage smell. The hall smelled of sewage too, like staying in a sewer. We told the owner and her son we couldn't stay in those conditions, left the key, and after a long discussion they took half the price from our Booking payment, though they had "agreed" to cancel the reservation. They also want cash on arrival, saying they don't like payment through Booking and will take cash and cancel the Booking payment. But if you turn down the room, suddenly they want the Booking payment and charge half the price to the card. The rooms are terrible and nothing like the pictures. Between the odor and the owners' rudeness, this is unacceptable for a business like this.

Our studio D2 had a great balcony view and plenty of space, with air conditioning, a small but adequate kitchen, a fridge, and stoves. The bathroom was spacious and there was always hot water. It's well suited to families with one or two children aged 0-12. Studio Giannis is in new buildings right in front of the beach, literally 20 seconds away. Anna and Maritsa were kind and welcoming, and made sure we had what we needed. Maritsa kept the room spotless. Recommended!
