Villa Irida

The hosts, Cecilia and Theo, made this stay especially easy. They were warm, helpful, and ready whenever we needed something, which mattered a lot with a child and a dog along. Villa Irida welcomes pets. The beach and town are both just a few minutes on foot, and there's a roomy yard with a barbecue and guest parking. Our apartment was modern, clean, and spacious, with fresh towels and bed linen every three days. It's the best place I've stayed in Greece so far. Some hotels could learn a thing or two from how they care for the suites and guests. Highly recommend, 5/5.

We really liked our stay at Villa Irida. There's a lovely big garden with mountain views where you can unwind after the beach, plus a little playground and parking. The rooms were impressively clean, and Theo and Cecile were such friendly hosts. Getting to the beach takes about three minutes on foot. It is across the road, but you just cross over and you're there. We're very happy with our choice and would recommend it for a laid-back holiday.

Our booking was canceled at the last minute, with no reasonable explanation. We'd reserved the accommodation two weeks earlier and paid in advance. We were told to expect the refund after 10 days, and ended up without a place to stay with our child at the worst possible time. Shame on the hosts. Never again. The only alternative offered was awful, rated 6.9/10 on booking. Keep the apologies for someone else and work on your business ethics. A serious owner doesn't leave a family with a child out on the street. You were terrible hosts. Shame on you.

Theo and Cecile welcomed us with real warmth and treated us like close friends. Theo did everything he could to make our stay pleasant. The rooms are modest, but comfortable and sparkling clean, and the garden is nicely kept for relaxing. What you see in the online pictures is exactly what you get. Don't hesitate, come and enjoy.
