We stayed in No4 and loved the spectacular view from the balcony. The cosy apartments are right by the sea, quite close to Sitía, and there’s parking for cars or bikes. A great choice that I’d highly recommend. The only thing that could improve the room is a larger bathroom, though it wasn’t a real problem.

The walk into the centre of Sitia is a bit long, so having a car makes this a great place to stay. The people were friendly and helped with what we needed; they don’t speak much English, but enough to assist. Our room was clean, with a balcony on the second floor and another outdoor sitting spot in front of the apartment. Rooms have one or two places to sit outside.

We were in unit 7. The town of Sithia is easy to reach, and the location is very quiet. But the bed was so hard that we had two sleepless nights during our two-day stay, and we were glad to leave. Even one star feels like too much. The place is spread over a steep hillside with no elevator, so luggage is a real challenge, especially if you have a weak heart. The bathroom was another disappointment: for the first time in my life, I saw a shower inside the WC. Yes, inside.

The view is beautiful, but the rooms are small and extremely hot. If you’re travelling with kids and they have to sleep in a room without air conditioning, they’ll suffer.

The views are great and the location is good, though getting into the place is a little tricky. The rooms could use some renovation, especially the bathroom. Still, it was a good experience.
