Siviris Golden Beach

This is our third visit, and we’ll definitely be back. The beach is right in front, with lots of sunbed and chair options, and there are nearby restaurants if you want more breakfast choices. The breakfast itself has enough variety and is sufficient. Our spacious, comfortable room was cleaned every day. The hotel and restaurant are great value, but the hospitality really stands out. The staff are friendly and always ready to help. Strongly recommended.

We booked well in advance and paid for a sea-view room, yet got what felt like the worst room in the hotel. It was on the ground floor beside the road, and parked cars filled the view from the seating area, with barely any sea to see. The room also had poor lighting, inadequate Wi-Fi and no kettle. The open shower splashed water across the bathroom, and the sink faucet wobbled. Outside, the pool and hotel grounds are very small. The beach is crowded into a relatively small area, and there are far too few parking spaces. A parasol and loungers cost the same for one person as for four.

We enjoyed our time here, and the terrace had a lovely view. The hotel is right on the beach, which was nice, and the free sunbeds were suitable for kids, though you had to order 15 euros' worth from the bar. The beachfront bar had plenty of drinks and snacks. At the restaurant, we had lunch every day. The chicken soup was very tasty, the fried zucchini with tzatziki was good, and the rest of the food was okay. Breakfast was decent but the same each day. Our triple room was okay, though it smelled a little, and I loved the big bed. For what was offered, it felt a little expensive.

The staff were kind, and the hotel was good, but the rooms are small. We didn’t enjoy the breakfast and think it could be better. The “private” beach isn’t really private, since anyone can use it, and there aren’t enough sunbeds for hotel guests. People leave towels on their loungers all day, even when they go away.
