Litsa Apartments

Janis was a great host at this wonderful complex. The apartments were clean, well equipped, and big enough for us. They’re right on the beach, and you can use the sun beds by ordering any drink, which seems totally fair.

Iannis made us feel so welcome. He’s warm, educated, stylish, and speaks English well. He’s the sort of person you connect with straight away and leave wanting to see again next year. Everything worked out well for us during our short three-night stay, and we didn’t need anything else. Cleaning was scheduled every three days, but we skipped it because we were leaving the next day. The villa is part of an older development of privately owned villas, with several accommodation options. It felt like a charming little holiday village right on the water, with palm and lemon trees, ficus, vines, hedges, and natural stone paving. Almost everyone there seemed to be Greek families, and the relaxed, decent family holiday atmosphere gave me my first genuine Greek vacation, rather than just a vacation in Greece. Now I can say from experience that Greeks know how to relax. Our place had been renovated fairly recently, and all the amenities worked, including the washing machine. It was spacious, with a large upstairs living room and two bedrooms downstairs, one of them quite large. Each floor had its own bathroom. Private parking across the street was a real luxury among the narrow streets and tightly parked cars. Being right by the waterfront made beach days wonderfully easy. At first all we needed was a towel, and if we wanted anything else later, we could simply go inside and get it. It was the most relaxed, hassle-free beach experience I’ve had. Local attractions are an easy walk away, and The Ippokampos, the best seafood restaurant in the area, is right next door.

Yiannis made our stay especially enjoyable with his warm, friendly hospitality. We had a wonderful time at Litsa Apartments and will definitely come back. The place was clean and comfortable, in a great spot for a relaxing holiday in Fourka, and everything was just as described. Many thanks, and all the best!

We came from Germany for a seven-night stay at Litsa Apartments in Fourka, and couldn’t be happier with the choice. Yiannis was especially kind and helpful, and all the staff were lovely. The bar had excellent food and coffee, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. Everything was spotless and beautifully renovated. I’d warmly recommend it for an easy, carefree holiday, and we’ll definitely return.
