The breakfast got repetitive enough that by the end I was sticking to cereal, milk, and fruit. The hotel itself is quiet and set a little away from town, though the town is only a 10-minute walk. It’s family-run, with a cat and two dogs around, which I liked. Staff were polite but didn’t seem especially interested in guests. My room was clean and tidied each day. The pool is small and very deep, dropping quickly from 1.5 m to almost 3 m. The beach is close, and you can even spot flamingos nearby.

We had a great location for our Lesvos holiday, staying at the aegeon hotel in kallonis. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the hotel was clean and pleasant. Staff were kind and polite, and breakfast was good. There’s also a swimming pool. The beach, sea kalloni, restaurants, and district are a five-minute walk away.

A lovely, traditional Greek hotel. The rooms are dated, as others have said, but very clean and tidied every day with fresh towels. The staff are really friendly, and the two resident dogs are adorable. There’s a resident cat too x

We all enjoyed the varied breakfast, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. George was simply great. The pool stayed clean and was big enough for all the guests. The location is great too, about a five-minute walk from the seaside and restaurants.

The balcony was a good size, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, though there weren’t many choices. The rooms felt a bit dated, and I didn’t like the tiny shower cubicle or its clingy curtain.
