At the rates they charge, this place needs to up its game. The food selection for both dinner and breakfast should be better, and there should be someone at the bar to serve drinks when needed, instead of waiting until Mickey, the owner/manageress, happens to be free. Maybe an upmarket backpacking hostel is a bit harsh, but it's a happy-go-lucky place you'd be fine with at a budget price.

It felt like visiting a friend in a mental institution. You tell them things look okay and they'll get through it, and when they ask if you'll come back next week, you reassure them, though deep down you just want to leave and never do return. At breakfast, I was getting coffee when a bloke in the queue shuffled around. I wondered what he was up to, while people behind me seemed to think I was holding up the line, so I took a coffee and left. He sat across from me and ate 12 boiled eggs. I couldn't believe it, but I couldn't stop watching. Then he went back to the counter, took another 4 eggs, put them in his pocket, and left. I got more coffee and sat down thinking maybe I'd been in the sun too long. I'd never seen anything like it. Then he came back into the dining room, went to the eggs, and ate 12 more. This really happened. A big thank you to the kind gentleman and lady who gave me ibuprofen for my back on departure day. They were really nice.

A great place to chill, with a lovely pool, spots for sunbathing, and a bar with a great menu and big portions. The staff were happy, friendly, and very helpful. The room's air conditioning worked well. I've had a lovely time and will come back.

The beach is only a short five minute walk from the hotel. It's a quiet spot for a relaxing stay, and much of the food is fresh from the garden and farm, with plenty of variety for everyone. The staff make you feel like family, and it's a lovely way to experience Greek culture. I'd highly recommend it for families or friends. Stay here next time you're in Lesvos!
