Mrs. Maria and her family made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless, neat, and cared for down to the last detail. It had air conditioning, a TV, an iron, and even a stove with kitchenware. We didn't cook, but it was nice to have the option, and nothing seemed to be missing. The location is great, near some wonderful taverns with amazing food. The village bakery's tasty tsoureki is worth trying, too, and everything was at very affordable prices. Our stay in Skala Sykamineas was full of warmth, comfort, and real hospitality. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

They also run a mini-market across from the business, with local products and all sorts of other things. Their bakery and pastry shop is lovely too, with delicious cookies and bread to try. We've stayed at this charming place before, and the family who owns it always welcomes us like friends, not customers. Their warmth still surprises us, and now we consider them friends.
